Cardiac catheterization operations are often performed to view the heart and vascular system with an X-ray device by providing access through the femoral, axillary, jugular or other large artery and vein. In the pediatric age group, the diagnosis of congenital heart anomaly, its treatment is very important in terms of surgical decision and timing. With the contribution of technological developments, its use has become widespread and experienced anesthesiologists have more duties. The cardiologist, cardiovascular surgeon, and anesthesiologist performing the intervention should work in coordination and cooperation. It is very important for the success of the procedure that the anesthesiologist is familiar with the environment and has sufficient knowledge, skills and experience to cope with the problems that may arise.
